Pay Rate: $55/hr - $65/hr
Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week (3×12-Hour Shifts)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a busy Emergency Department providing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and traumatic conditions.
  • Perform triage and continuously monitor patient conditions.
  • Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, blood products, and procedural sedation as ordered.
  • Start and maintain peripheral IVs and manage central lines.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, obtain and interpret 12-lead ECGs, and respond to dysrhythmias.
  • Care for patients requiring ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and advanced respiratory support.
  • Assist with trauma, stroke, cardiac, psychiatric, and other emergency cases.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
  • Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies.
  • Float within the facility as needed and within the RN scope of practice.

RN01

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) RN experience.
  • Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification.
  • Current PALS Certification.
  • Experience with Epic EMR.
