Position Overview

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing top-quality care in a fast-paced environment, making critical assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer patient care in the emergency department, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical need.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documenting patient information, medication administration, and care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Participate actively in departmental initiatives to improve patient care quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting with at least 45,600 annual visits (125 patients/day).
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80%, including a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Experience with triage preferred.
• Must possess prior travel nursing experience.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts, with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Candidates must be willing to float within their skill set as needed.

Additional Requirements

• All employees must have the Flu vaccine.
