Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active Oregon RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Works in the Emergency Department of an acute care medical center
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• Shift hours run from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• PALS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
• Develops and implements care plans, evaluates outcomes, and promotes a safe healing environment
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver humane and caring treatment
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Required to complete all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
