Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. This role requires a strong background in a fast-paced ER environment, with a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in critical conditions.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12 Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: As scheduled
• Floating: May be required within the specialty

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing patient needs and delivering appropriate care in emergency situations.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation using EPIC charting.
• Monitoring patient conditions, with a typical patient ratio of 1:4, up to 5 for lower acuity cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced ER setting.
• First-time travelers are welcome if they possess strong experience in emergency care.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH.
