Job Overview
The ER RN will provide fast-paced, high-acuity care to patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency conditions. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident with triage, rapid assessment, critical thinking, and emergency interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Provide care for medical, surgical, trauma, and behavioral health emergencies
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
• Assist with codes, rapid responses, and critical procedures
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans

Requirements

• Active RN license or eligibility to practice in New Jersey
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS
• ACLS required
• PALS and TNCC preferred or may be required by facility
• Strong triage, telemetry, and critical-care skills
• Previous travel experience preferred
