Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in an acute care facility. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a busy and diverse 15-bed emergency department, including fast track and triage areas. The nurse will implement the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and document patient responses to health problems, utilizing equipment such as Electronic Medical Record systems.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The registered nurse is responsible for providing emergency care in a 15-bed emergency department, including fast track and triage units, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4. The department handles approximately 28,000 annual visits, and trauma level III or higher experience is preferred.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: MN state RN license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC are required.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience required, with experience working in a department with high annual visit volume preferred.
• Schedule: Shifts are 12 hours, rotating between day, evening, and night shifts, every other to every third weekend. Shifts are 12 hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Training on Electronic Medical Record systems (EPIC) and Accudose will be provided during orientation. Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must note if they have previously worked for the organization; if yes, their last assignment must have ended at least 6 months prior.
