Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing critical care to patients in an emergency setting and will require working nights on a 3x12-hour schedule.

Schedule

  • Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
  • Holidays: Required as scheduled
  • Floating: Required within skill set

Patient Care Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is maintained at 1:4.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting
  • Current certifications required:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and triaging patients according to emergency protocols
  • Providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in patient records
