Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position specializing in ED and Inpatient Holds, requiring at least 1 year of experience and working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
  • Responsible for both ED and Inpatient Hold patients, requiring flexibility with varying ratios and acuity levels
  • Night shift: 19:00–07:30 (7p–7:30a)
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active RN license — Compact (multi-state) or Connecticut (CT) state license required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS or ENPC, TNCC
  • COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to both Emergency Department patients and Inpatient Hold patients
  • Must be comfortable managing the acuity and patient ratios associated with both ED and inpatient hold assignments
