Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing in a hospital setting. This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, adhering to evidence-based practices within the scope of practice of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory standards, and hospital policies. The ER nurse assesses and manages acute patient conditions, collaborates with other healthcare professionals, and educates patients and families to promote recovery and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift with a 12-hour shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; 0.0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing, additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The ER nurse will rapidly assess and respond to clinical situations, activate emergency protocols as needed, document and communicate effectively with team members, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. The shift involves working overnight hours, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week from 10/11/2026 to 01/09/2027.
