Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting, providing care to both adult and pediatric populations. The role requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assist in stabilization and management of emergency cases.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent experience in an Emergency Department, with exposure to both adult and pediatric patient populations.
• Current Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA only.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting.

Shift Details

This position involves 12-hour shifts, with day and mid-shift options available. The role includes weekends and holidays as necessary.
