Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Department Description

The Emergency Department provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of needs, from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including urgent mental health care. The department is dedicated to welcoming all patients, whether they arrive independently or by emergency transport. All staff members are certified in managing critical cardiac and trauma cases, including those involving pediatric patients.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is necessary to meet the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.

Shift Information

• Nights (1900-0730) with rotating weekends.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Minimum Years of Experience

1 year of experience is required in a relevant clinical setting.
