As part of WCS Healthcare Partners, you will have the opportunity to work in a 437-bed teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in patient and family education.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current NY State RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Strong skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Experience in trauma care, with Level II Trauma Center experience required and Level I preferred.
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs and administering IV vasopressors.
