Job Summary
Emergency Room registered nurse position available in a healthcare organization located in Utica, New York. This role involves providing urgent and specialized nursing care in the emergency department. Candidates must have a solid background in emergency medicine, with additional pediatric experience preferred, and will be expected to work night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 14:30 03:00, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), active New York license, and at least 3 years of experience in emergency nursing with pediatric experience. Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; travel experience is required, and documentation of travel experience must be provided.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse capability is highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in the emergency department with an emphasis on patient care, documentation, and adherence to facility protocols such as Standard Operating Procedures. Candidates should be proficient in Epic electronic medical record system and include a Request for Time Off (RTO) at the time of submission.
