Emergency Department RN – PM/Night Rotation
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts Shift: Rotating evenings and nights Weekends: Every third weekend Interview: Unit manager will call qualified candidates directly Patient Population: Primarily adults
Required Experience
Recent Emergency Department RN experience
Telemetry competency
Cardiac-rhythm interpretation skills
Strong emergency assessment, triage and prioritization abilities
Ability to manage high-acuity and rapidly changing patients
Responsibilities
Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
Prioritize care based on patient acuity
Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
Monitor telemetry and recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms
Administer medications and emergency treatments
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
Provide patient and family education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
