Job Summary:

The RN in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering competent and compassionate care to patients across all stages of growth and development, from pediatric to geriatric. This role involves performing thorough assessments, providing direct patient care, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring patient satisfaction, adhering to safety protocols, and demonstrating professionalism. The RN will also contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care based on individual needs and conditions, while actively engaging patients and their families in education and care planning.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in Critical Care, Cardiac, or Emergency Department settings
• Current RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification (required for pediatric ER only)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree
