Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• 2+ years of experience in emergency department required with some pediatrics experience
• Travel experience required
• Treat a variety of patient populations including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Experience with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun required
• Work in a 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active New York RN license required
