Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience

• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required

• Previous travel nursing experience required

• Travelers must reside 75+ miles from the facility

• Local candidates (<75 miles) will be considered at a local pay rate

• Active New York RN license

• Current certifications required:

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)

  • PALS

  • NIHSS

  • TNCC

• Experience with Epic EMR required

• Charge nurse experience highly preferred

• Skills checklist required

• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application

Job Details:

• Shift: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (block scheduling not guaranteed)

• Floating may be required

• Patient population: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics

• Common cases: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure

• Experience with critical care drips, emergency medications, and trauma/emergency equipment required.
