Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Burlington, Vermont. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a large, teaching healthcare facility. The RN will work on a rotating day/night schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week, offering flexibility to meet unit and patient care needs.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating days and nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); TNCC must be in packet or proof of class prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start. A minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience. Prior travel experience preferred; if RN has worked in larger (500+ bed counts), teaching facilities, and more than one ER, the facility may waive the travel requirement. Large, teaching facility experience required. EPIC electronic medical record experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable.
  • Additional Information: IVS to OFFER. Schedule from Monday to Sunday with no block schedules for any reason. Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained. All work history information including bed count, electronic medical record, and facility type must be complete for application submission.
  • Location: 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, VT 05401.
  • Travel Requirements: No travel required. No float rotation expected.
