All Medical Personnel - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

What You Will Do:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care independently, utilizing your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments following established protocols while monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
Educate patients and their families, addressing psychological, emotional, and social needs with cultural sensitivity.
Collaborate with healthcare team members, delegate appropriately, and contribute to the ongoing development of your professional skills.
Maintain meticulous documentation of patient histories, care plans, and treatment responses.
Respond effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating leadership and adaptability.
Required Skills & Certifications:
Current RN license in your state of employment or a valid compact license.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
ACLS certification from the AHA.
PALS certification from the AHA.
De-Escalation certification.
Current TNCC certification is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
Knowledge of trauma care, neurological emergencies, and cardiovascular management.
Previous exposure to high-acuity, adult patient populations.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience in an acute or emergency setting.
Additional Requirements:
Availability to work 36 or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend commitment.
Ability to adapt to shifts from 7PM to 7AM.
Must attend organizational orientation within the first 30 days.
No floating required; work assignments are consistent.
Physical ability to handle high patient acuity and urgent situations.
Security on-site 24/7 for safety.
