Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) located in Plattsburgh, New York. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of handling diverse patient needs with a focus on safety and efficiency. The shift is scheduled for evenings, from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- One year minimum of specialty experience in emergency nursing
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIHSS, and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) TNCC must be active or proof of class completion prior to start; NIHSS required prior to starting
- Education: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in New York, or proof of application with applied date (processing may take 6-8 weeks).
- Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
- Additional Information:
- Travel is not required for this position.
- Float rotation is not required.
- This position requires all employment gaps over 90 days to be explained.
- Complete work history, including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., is mandatory for submission.
- The assignment runs from Monday to Sunday with no block schedules.
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions are held on Mondays.
- Reliable transportation, such as a personal or rental vehicle, is strongly recommended, especially during months with winter weather.
