Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 47-bed acute care facility. The position is scheduled for night shifts and requires the ability to start within 7 to 10 days of offer acceptance. The ER Nurse will support the organizations commitment to patient-centered care and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), relevant Emergency Room (ER) experience, license to practice in the state of New Mexico, and at least 1 year of clinical experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certification are preferred
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered. All clinical staff in the state of New Mexico must be fingerprinted prior to hire and provide documentation that the background check is being processed. Travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while waiting for fingerprint results but must be supervised during this period. The organization requires that all clinicians have an active account with the New Mexico Department of Health (NM DOH), and the background check process will be initiated through the NM DOH portal using the specified ORI code NM920160Z.
