Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Big Sky, MT. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing exceptional, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and procedures.
- Practice modified primary nursing while providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Active Montana RN License
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) Certification
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience
- Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and on-call as needed
