First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Job Description & Requirements

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour or 4x12-Hour Shifts (36 or 48 Hours/Week) | 19:00 – 07:00
  • Weekend Protocol: Every 3rd weekend required.
  • On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties required.
  • Holiday Protocol: Required to work 1–2 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
  • Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract (Start Date: 08/31/2026) | 2 Open Positions
  • Orientation: 16 Orientation Hours (Paid).
  • Floating Protocol: Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local hospital campuses.

  • Radius Rule [HARDSTOP]: Must have a permanent taxable address greater than 50 miles from the facility.

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1+ years of acute care Emergency Department (ER) experience. (Note: First-time travelers are accepted).
  • EMR Mandate: Direct clinical charting experience in Epic EMR.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Iowa State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
    • Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
  • Required Documentation Profile [MUST ATTACH AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Copy of Driver's License.
    • Up-to-date Work History / Resume.
    • Completed Skills Checklist (completed within 1 year of submission date).
    • Active State License Verification.
    • Copies of required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC).
    • Minimum 1 Supervisory Reference from a recent emergency department supervisor.
