Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing high-quality, direct patient care in a fast-paced environment at multiple emergency department campuses. The position requires flexibility to float across various units and locations, ensuring patient safety and care continuity.
Job Details
Certifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Education: Valid California RN license, associated with a minimum of 3 years of ER experience
Experience requirement: 3 years of ER experience required
Shift: Rotating schedule, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Schedule: 3 x 12-Nights/Days rotation from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM; weekend rotation and on-call required
Additional Information: This is a true float position, with coverage across three campuses approximately 15 minutes apart, with scheduled notifications two hours prior to reporting. The role involves managing a wide range of emergency conditions and clinical procedures, including airway management, trauma, stroke care, and resuscitation efforts. Candidates must be prepared to work in multiple shifts and locations and demonstrate recent, relevant ER experience.
