Exciting opportunity for an experienced ER RN to join a high-volume Emergency Department in Downey, CA!
Position Details
- Start/Orientation Dates: 8/6 or 8/20
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Schedule: 3 x 12s
- Shift: Nights
- Float: None
- On Call: None
- RTO: No summertime RTO will be approved
- Local travelers accepted
- Approximately 2 weeks/10 business days required for credentialing
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- ACLS, BLS & PALS
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience
- Epic experience highly preferred
- Travel experience preferred, not required
- Must be comfortable in a very busy, high-acuity ER and able to jump in with a strong sense of urgency
- Skills checklist scores must be 3.0+
- COVID vaccination not required
ER Overview
- High-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department
- 80-bed ER
- Approximately 300–400 patient census
- Cases include trauma, gunshot/stab wounds, motor vehicle accidents, and other emergency conditions
- Fast-paced environment requiring strong ER assessment and prioritization skills
- Epic EMR
- Navy blue scrubs
- Onsite parking
Travel Pay
Estimated Gross Weekly: $2,960
- Regular Pay: $25/hr x 24 hours = $600
- Overtime: $37.50/hr x 12 hours = $450
- Total Taxable: $1,050/week
- Weekly Stipend: $1,910
- Estimated Gross Weekly: $2,960
