Requirements
- 2+ years of ED experience with some Pediatric experience
- Travel experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Active New York RN License with NURSYS verification
- Specialty-matching skills checklist
- Updated resume documenting ED and travel experience
- Driver's license address must match demographics
Additional Details
- 75-mile radius rule for travel rate
- Locals under 75 miles accepted at local rate
- RTO must be included at submission
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Floating required
- Charge experience highly preferred
- Navy blue scrubs
- 64-bed ED: 2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 Psych
- Patient population: Newborn, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric
- Common diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- ED nurses may be required to care for all assigned patients, including SANE
- Specialty equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Required medication/drip experience includes pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, TNK, Heparin, and Insulin
Day, Evening, and Night shifts available.
