Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Day shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience, within the last 3 months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior license disciplinary actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients, supervising and directing nursing staff while collaborating across disciplines
• Perform patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation duties
• Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• RTO limited to 5 days or fewer for consideration
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
