Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in the ER specialty. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level II trauma center setting. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on acute patient assessment and treatment, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights (1900-0730), 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts per week, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications; minimum 2.5 years of experience in a large Level II trauma center; at least 2 years of experience in a large level II trauma center is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, Blood Product Administration, Ventilated Patient Care, Central line management, Continuous IV sedation, and familiarity with trauma and stroke certifications.
Additional Information: Candidates will float within the hospital based on census. Prior experience in a Level II trauma center is mandatory. Must have current CA license and Nursys verification. RTO requests must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission. The role involves working with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations, with a patient census of approximately 310 visits per day.
