Schedule Requirements:
• 2 weekends in a 4-week schedule period
• Every other holiday
• Must be flexible with scheduling requirements
• Contract must extend through 1/9/2027
Compensation48 Hours:
Weekly Gross Pay: $3,516/week
Taxable Pay: Approximately $816/week($17/hr)
Housing & Meal Stipend: $2,600/week
Estimated Blended Rate: $73.25/hour
36 Hours:
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,662/week
Taxable Pay: Approximately $612/week($17/hr)
Housing & Meal Stipend: Approximately $2,050/week
Estimated Blended Rate: Approximately $73.9/hour
Final compensation may vary based on experience, certifications, local/travel status, and applicable contract terms.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a busy Emergency Department.
The RN will provide safe, high-quality emergency care, assess and monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and established protocols.
• Independently interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards.
• Float to the Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED as needed.
• In the Pediatric ED, travelers may care for patients age 15+ unless they have previous pediatric experience.
Requirements
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or Level II ED experience
• OR
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level III or Level IV ED experience
• Active, unexpired BLS
• Active, unexpired ACLS
• Active, unexpired TNCC
• Active, unexpired PALS
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Ability to identify heart blocks
• Must successfully pass a Day 1 Telemetry Exam with a score of 85% or higher
• Must be willing to work 2 weekends in a 4-week schedule period
• Must be willing to work every other holiday

• Very busy Emergency Department
• Approximately 350–440 patient visits per day
• Up to 120 treatment areas
• Typical patient ratio: 1:4–1:5 depending on acuity
• Travelers may float to the Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED
• Travelers will not be assigned to Trauma Rooms during the assignment
