Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Camden, New Jersey, near Philadelphia
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $710–$750
• Position Type: Per diem; local Emergency Room RN opportunity
• Schedule: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. night shift
• Scheduling Commitment: Six 12-hour shifts per six-week period, including three weekday shifts and three weekend shifts
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Clinical Setting: Emergency Department and Level I Trauma environment

Emergency Room Nurse Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse or Emergency Department RN experience
• Previous Level I Trauma nursing experience
• Current, active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current ATCN or TNCC certification
• Recent experience using EPIC electronic medical records
• Compliance with required influenza vaccination policies

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with emergent, urgent, and trauma-related conditions
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and recognize changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Respond effectively to critical situations and support Level I Trauma stabilization efforts
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EPIC
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department
