Job Title: Clinical Education Specialist Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Clinical Effectiveness Consultant III Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with Epic charting system - Ability to assess educational needs and performance gaps - Knowledge of regulatory requirements Description: This position serves as primary support to clinical and operational leadership. Monitoring and evaluating processes for outcomes management, performance improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance is essential. Develops and coordinates components of the Clinical Effectiveness and Performance Improvement Program. Facilitates clinical improvement activities utilizing performance improvement methodologies. Serves as a resource to assist and train others on performance improvement methodologies. Provides accurate and timely information for effective decision-making for all levels of management, physicians, and clinical staff. Experience in Emergency Department, ICU, and Inpatient Acute Care is preferred. Participation in quality assurance and performance improvement reviews is required. Candidates must provide accurate work history information going back 7 years. All certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
