Travel Nurse RN - Electrophysiology Lab - $2,323 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: EP Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EP Lab experience Activated Clotting Time (ACT) Cardioversion experience Circulate procedures experience Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Monitoring procedural sedation Ability to obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG Description: The position requires working four 10-hour day shifts, beginning at 07:00 and ending at 17:30. Shift times may vary based on when procedures are completed. On-call is not required, and weekend work is not required. Travelers will not float between service lines or to sister facilities. Previous charge experience is not required, but candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are accepted. A radiation badge is mandatory and must be provided by the agency. Candidates should be familiar with activated clotting time (ACT) and possess skills in cardioversion and circulating procedures. Proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias is essential. Candidates must be capable of monitoring procedural sedation and obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG. This position may require accommodating a block schedule with managers' approval. Local candidates will be accepted on a case-by-case basis but may receive a lower rate. There may be a requirement for emergency response duties during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All required labs and modules must be completed prior to starting the position. The selected candidate must ensure compliance with pre-start requirements.
