Must-Have:
- Experience with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction and Watchman procedures
- Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia induction and cardiac ablation
- Ability to perform cardioversion and conduction studies
- Skills in the insertion and programming of AICDs and left atrial appendage closure
- Experience with obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG
- Proficiency in medication management, including antiarrhythmics and thrombolytics
- Strong patient education skills, especially around lifestyle and medication adherence
- Ability to collaborate on quality improvement initiatives
Description:
This position is opened to cover a caregiver who is on leave.
The Electrophysiology RN will work Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 17:00.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology Lab is required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
No weekend or on-call requirements apply.
This position does not require floating between different units.
Local candidates are welcome to apply.
Candidates should be familiar with EPIC charting.
The facility is a Heart and Vascular Clinic and requires any color scrubs.
The RN will engage in the care of patients with various cardiac diagnoses.
Patient engagement includes educating patients about their conditions and treatment options.
Team collaboration is important for quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with GLP-1 therapies in AFib management.
Experience in risk factor modification clinics or device clinics is a plus.
