This position has been opened to cover a caregiver who is on leave.-----OVERVIEW: Electrophysiology RN - Seattle, WA ***13-Week contract***- Schedule: 5x8hr, Monday-Friday, 0830-1700- Start Date: ASAP- Years of experience REQ: 2 years of experience working as an RN in Electrophysiology (EP) is REQUIRED- First-timers accepted: Yes- Weekend REQ: No- Is on-call REQ? No- Will this traveler need to float between like units? No- Locals accepted: Yes- License REQ: RN License- Required Skills: CARDIAC CATH LAB PROCEDURES----- Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal ----- Watchman procedure ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY PROCEDURES----- Arrhythmia Induction ----- Cardiac Ablation ----- Cardiac Mapping ----- Cardioversion ----- Conduction Studies ----- Insertion/Programming of AICDs ----- Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure ----- Pacemaker Insertion MEDICATION----- Antiarrhythmics ----- Antihypertensives ----- Thrombolytics PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS----- Cardioversion----- Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias ----- Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG PATIENT ENGAGEMENT ----- Patient education, especially around lifestyle and medication adherence TEAM COLLABORATION----- Quality improvement initiatives FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS:- Type of Facility: Heart & Vascular Clinic- Attire / Scrub Color: Any color scrubs- Charting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED)--
