Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 0730-1800; average daily census of 15 cases; rotating late team assignments including 1st and 2nd late responsibilities

• Comprehensive 30-hour orientation program with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and respiratory services
• Scrubs provided; supportive team environment with structured late shift rotation to ensure adequate staffing and work-life balance
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric populations requiring specialized cardiac rhythm management
• Contract length designed to provide stability while gaining diverse procedural experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCI RCES or CCI RCIS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in electrophysiology lab procedures including scrub and circulating roles
• Demonstrated competency in conscious sedation administration and monitoring during procedures
• Strong skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, cardiac mapping, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Experience with permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, AICD programming, and sterile technique maintenance
• Ability to perform equipment setup, EKG lead placement, and accurate patient monitoring
• Willingness to participate in storm team/hurricane team and disaster response as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
