Job Summary: Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab) Nurse position available in an outpatient ambulatory cardiology office. The role involves supporting electrophysiology device management, triaging urgent patient symptoms, supervising stress tests, and providing follow-up care for adult cardiac patients. Preference is given to candidates with experience in electrophysiology and device management.
Job Details:
Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid state license, minimum 1 year of experience in relevant clinical settings, EP device management experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and electrophysiology skills including activated clotting time (ACT), cardioversion, and radiation and laser safety
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology lab procedures, device management, and outpatient cardiology settings
Additional Information: Supports EP device division utilizing MURJ for remote reports and alerts. Assists back office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice, triages urgent symptoms, supervises stress tests, and manages adult cardiac outpatient care. Candidate must be flexible to work in outpatient ambulatory setting and adhere to scheduling requirements.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a compact license in hand within two weeks of applying. References covering the last three years are required, with at least two references for one year each.
