Description:
The Electrophysiology Lab is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift position.
The schedule is 4 days per week, working 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30.
This position requires 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
Candidates must have current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Experience with specialized procedures is required, including but not limited to:
- Cardiac Implant Closure Device
- Pacemaker/Defibrillator Lead Extraction/Removal
- Arrhythmia Induction
- Baseline Measurements
- Cardiac Ablation
- Cardiac Mapping
- Cardioversion
- Conduction Studies
- Insertion/Programming of AICDs
- Left Atrial Appendage Closure
- Pacemaker Insertion
The unit actively engages with various interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The daily census averages 22 patients, with a maximum capacity of 6 beds.
Candidates must be proactive and responsive during the credentialing process.
References from previous supervisory roles are required for all applicants.
Travel experience is considered a plus, as well as charge experience.
Emergency procedures are part of the unit's focus, and familiarity with relevant protocols is expected.
