Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026 (ASAP start preferred)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible between 7:00-8:00 AM start). Call requirements include one week of weekday call every two months (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) and one weekend of 24-hour call every two months. Call volume is generally low, with most call-ins for pacemaker cases averaging approximately 2 hours.

  • Collaborate with world-renowned electrophysiologists in a dynamic, research-driven environment
  • 6-room EP lab serving diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of EP lab experience
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
  • Proficiency in EP procedures including cardiac ablation, cardioversion, conduction studies, AICD programming, and pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction
  • Two professional references required (one from manager/director or formal leadership)
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
