They prepare examination areas and position patients for procedures. The role involves operating complex radiology equipment and following established techniques and routines. Registered Nurses are responsible for providing patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served. The department has 11 employees and conducts 5 to 10 procedures per day. There will be Saturday on-call requirements. The ratio of Registered Nurses to technical staff is maintained effectively within the department.
