**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
- **Location:** Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC
- **Shift:** 7P – 7A
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Openings:** 1

**Unit Highlights:**
- **Emergency Department:**
- 21 beds total:
- 12 telemetry beds
- 3 behavioral health beds
- 5 fast track rooms
- Patient Ratios: **1:5**
- Utilize **state-of-the-art emergency equipment**
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): **Cerner**
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide top-notch emergency nursing care, including:
- Trauma and resuscitation
- IV initiation and management, including IV drips
- Oxygen demand support
- Administration of blood products
- Basic telemetry/EKG monitoring
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH
- De-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB)
- PALS
- **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in emergency nursing
- **Education:** ADN required
- **Desired Skills:**
- Experience in Emergency Medicine
- Psych ER experience is a plus
