- **Location:** Harris Regional Hospital, Sylva, NC
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
- **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Openings:** 1
- **Patient Ratios:** 5:1

**Unit Information:**
- **Emergency Department:**
- 16 beds
- Advanced equipment including Code Carts, Defibrillators, GE Cardiac Monitors, Rapid Transfuser
- **EHR System:** Paragon ED
- **Patient Population:**
- Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young, Middle, Older Adult
**Role Requirements:**
- **Certifications Needed:**
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 2 years in a comparable setting
**Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Triage / ESI Levels / Prioritization
- Rapid Assessment and Critical Thinking
- Resuscitation skills
- Fast Track and Splinting & Immobilization
**Preferred Skillset/Experience:**
- Moderate Sedation (Adult / Peds)
- Cardioversion and Transcutaneous Pacing
**Common Diagnoses/Treatments:**
- Trauma Stabilization
- Neurological and Cardiac Emergencies
- Sepsis and Respiratory Conditions
- Diabetic Complications and Obstetric Concerns
- Mental Health and Substance Abuse Issues
