- **Location:** Memorial Hospital of Martinsville - Sovah Health, Martinsville, VA
- **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Number of Openings:** 1
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5
- **Patient Population:** Serves all ages
**Unit Overview:**
- **Department:** Emergency Services
- **Number of Beds:** 34
- **Electronic Health Record (EHR):** Medhost
- **Supervisor:** Jessica Tate, Director of Emergency Services
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional emergency care to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor while providing high-quality care
**Required Qualifications:**
- **Licensure/Certifications:** RN licensure in Virginia
- **Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- CPI/Handle with Care
- NIH
- PALS or ENPC
- **Years of Experience:** 1-2 years in an emergency room setting
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with common diagnoses such as:
- Chest Pain
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Psychiatric conditions
