Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Mother/Baby care at a prominent facility in Cumming, Georgia. This role is integral to a 40-bed Mother/Baby unit that supports approximately 4000 deliveries annually, emphasizing a family-centered care approach. You will provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care, ensuring a supportive and safe environment for new mothers and their infants.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of maternal and neonatal health status.
Educate new parents on newborn care, feeding techniques (breastfeeding and bottle-feeding), and postpartum recovery.
Monitor and manage common postpartum complications and newborn conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience in a Mother/Baby or Postpartum unit.
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility address (1200 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming, Georgia 30041).
