Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Penn Yan, NY. This role will see you applying your extensive nursing theory and technical skills to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic hospital environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Emergency Department

Apply nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in high-quality patient care and family interaction
Assess patient needs, identify care priorities, and collaboratively provide direct care
Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures to manage emergency situations
Connect with patients and families during triage, assigning care priority based on standards
Conduct primary, secondary assessments, and reassessments to identify treatment response
Promote trust and cooperation among team members for optimal patient outcomes
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and educate them on post-emergency care
Acknowledge patient/family needs, maintaining their central focus throughout care

Requirements of the RN - ED- Emergency Department

BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only)
Two years' ED acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse
NIHSS certification
NYS RN licensure
