Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,598 per week in Conroe, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 - 23:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: The Emergency Department has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds. The unit is staffed by 77 personnel. During day shift, there are various staff allocations including charge nurses, RNs, and paramedics/LVNs. Night shift staffing includes charge nurses and RNs, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4. Equipment used in the department includes Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont rapid infusers, portable EKG machines, and EMR - Meditech. Typical procedures performed include NIH, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK, and cardiac monitoring. We are seeking a team player who exemplifies compassion and empathy. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Weekend shifts are required, typically every other weekend.
