Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,598 per week in Conroe, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: The Emergency Department has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds. The unit is staffed by 77 personnel. On the day shift, the staffing includes a Charge Nurse, 7 Registered Nurses, and a Paramedic or LVN. Additional staffing includes various roles throughout the day to ensure optimal coverage. The patient ratio is 1:4. Equipment used in the unit includes Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, a portable EKG machine, and EMR - Meditech. Common procedures performed in the unit include NIH assessments, IV and blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring. Ideal candidates must be team players. Every other weekend commitment is required.
