ALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. No on-call is required. Staffing in the department fluctuates based on patient volume. The unit has 23 beds and typically a staff of 40. Patient ratios are usually 4:1. Typical procedures performed include cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation. Ideal candidates are team players with a flexible and positive demeanor. Candidates with two years of Emergency Department experience are preferred. The unit has a close-knit culture that embraces community growth. The staff consists of a mix of newly graduated nurses and experienced nurses with long-term commitments. Self-scheduling is supported and contributes to job satisfaction.
