The unit consists of 28 beds.
There are 15 staff members on duty including charge nurses, registered nurses, technicians, and a unit secretary.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1.
Primary equipment used includes an electronic medical record system.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include IV starts, blood draws, resuscitations, and EKGs.
The ideal candidate is active and personable.
Candidates must possess the required certifications.
Employees are expected to work 4 weekend shifts each month with no on-call duties.
