Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7P-7:30A Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2.5 years of ED experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: - BLS - ACLS - TNCC - PALS or ENPC - At least 2.5 years of ED experience - Excellent time management skills Description: The Emergency Department is looking for a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and teamwork skills. We prioritize a compassionate approach to patient care. Candidates must be proficient in ESI triage, splinting, STEMI, and Stroke processes. Experience assisting with chest tubes, central lines, and lumbar punctures is required. Proficiency in the documentation system is necessary. Candidates are expected to float as needed. Self-scheduling is initially performed by staff. Specific requirements must be followed regarding attire. Scrub color for RNs is navy scrub top and pants, with a navy or white scrub jacket. Nails must be clean and healthy. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Attendance policies and floating guidelines must be adhered to. We are committed to exceeding patient expectations.
