This role involves providing specialized nursing care to expectant mothers and their fetuses facing complex medical conditions. This is a travel assignment, offering an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a critical care setting. You will play a vital role in monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, managing complications, and educating families throughout their perinatal journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to high-risk perinatal patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care as needed.
Conduct comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, including continuous electronic fetal monitoring.
Administer medications, blood products, and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
Respond to emergent situations, providing timely and effective interventions.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
